About
Lilly Kühn – M.Sc. Clinical Psychologist and Alternative Practitioner for Psychotherapy
I like to explore the point where science-based methods meet holistic approaches such as mindfulness, intuition, and inner awareness. For me, this complements traditional psychology and opens up new ways of understanding oneself.
In my experience, in a a safe, compassionate environment old beliefs and learned behavioral patterns often become more apparent. I am constantly struck by how our inner selves often quietly point us toward paths that lead to new insights — sometimes through detours, crises, or periods of stagnation. Not everything that is difficult is working against us — much of it can point the way toward potential steps in our personal growth.
In my work I create a space, where you can show yourself as you truly are - without judgment, conformity, expectations, or pressure. I’ll help you identify patterns, thoughts, and feelings, and try out new approaches. I work with you as an equal, with clarity, humor, and an open mind toward whatever comes up.

My journey so far
My desire to study clinical psychology led me to the the Netherlands - first to beautiful Groningen, where I completed my bachelor's degree, and later to Utrecht for my master's degree. During my training, I had the opportunity to spend several months gaining practical experience in two holistic psychosomatic clinics in Berlin and near Regensburg where I worked with people in various crisis situations and developmental processes.
My professional path then took me to an integration kindergarten in Hamburg-Harburg, where I was able to care for and support children aged 1 to 6 with special needs. I then moved to a private outpatient practice, where I was involved in diagnosing ADHD/ADD in adults.
A personal glimpse
Outside of work I love being creative, spending time in nature and being active. In addition to my professional life, I am also passionate about personal development in my private life. In the past, I have participated in several seminars (including the Hero's Journey and Breathwork) and attended a number of multi-day Vipassana meditation retreats.
I have been living in beautiful Lüneburg for two years now and feel very much at home here. For me, Lüneburg offers a wonderful balance of tranquility, inspiration, and vibrancy, which I also hope to pass on in my work.
